Freshness guide
How to store whole fresh green coconuts
Fresh produce needs attention when it arrives. The guidance included with your order is the product-specific source of truth; these habits help you start on the right foot at home.
Open the box as soon as you can
Bring the shipment inside, open the box promptly, and inspect every coconut. Check for visible transit damage, unusual leakage, or obvious surface concerns before putting the fruit away.
If something does not look right, take photos of the box and affected item before discarding packaging, then contact customer support promptly with your order information.
Follow the included storage directions
Whole green coconuts are an agricultural product, so handling can vary by fruit condition and the fulfillment guidance supplied with your order. Keep the included directions with the case and follow them before relying on general advice online.
Until you are ready to serve them, keep the fruit clean, dry, and away from direct heat or sunlight. Avoid leaving an unopened case outdoors, in a hot car, or near a heat source.
Treat an opened coconut differently
Once opened, move the water and flesh into clean, food-safe containers if you are not serving them immediately. Cover them, refrigerate them, and enjoy them promptly according to the order guidance.
Do not leave opened coconut water or flesh sitting out for extended periods. When in doubt about the condition of an opened coconut, do not consume it.
Plan the case around how you will use it
A 10-coconut case works best when there is a clear plan: a household sharing schedule, an event, a workplace service, or recipes that will use the fruit soon after it arrives. This keeps the case from becoming an afterthought.
If you are buying for a gathering, assign someone to receive the box, inspect it, and handle opening and serving. A little planning makes the fresh-product experience much smoother.
